In 1987 Sweden won the European Championship for open teams in Brighton. Magnus Lindkvist was a member of the Swedish team and has, with some help from Anders Wirgren, produced a detailed report how it is to participate in a big international championship.
We follow the Swedish team, match by match, read how they prepare for the next match, have a winning strike, turn a bad match into a win or fight their way back when they've lost a match.
In the introduction the players and the team captain are presented. We also learn a little about the methods used by the three pairs.
