Bridge players are excellent problem solvers; that is nothing new. Therefore, from February 23, 2000, Scania Bridgekonsult invites its readers to a slightly different competition, free to enter for anyone; and the two best solutions (or more) will be rewarded with bridge books from our store. Therefore, don't hesitate to enter. You have nothing to lose, much to gain.
Deadline for our 38th problem was October 10, 2009. Most solvers analyzed perfectly, and still nobody came up with the correct answer. In spite of that, I will give book prizes to Christian Bergek and Ryszard Sliwinski, both of Sweden.

Recently, I watched a vuegraph match on Bridge Base Online. Most of deals weren't interesting, but on one of them I noticed something most persons in the audience surely missed. I have forgotten the rest of the deal, but I remember that it was notrump and that the spade suit was divided like this.
When you think you know why I remember this spade suit, send your answer as an e-mail, or as an ordinary letter to Scania Bridgekonsult, Barkåkragatan 8, SE-216 22 Limhamn, Sweden, or fax it to 001 425 984 7031. If you do it no later than December 31, 2009, you have a chance to win one of our books. Good Luck!
